The Three Word Challenge - Part Deux

Yesterday's Three Word Challenge seemed to go down well, so I thought I'd do it again, except this time to be stricter and not use words like "very or "really".

Traquair House Ale - crimson, toffee, silky

Timothy Taylor Landlord - amber, citrus, oranges

Durham Brewery Benedictus - honey, bitter, velvet

Old Luxters Farmhouse Barn Ale - orange, spicy, strong

  1. I've never come across Benedictus before but Bishop's Gold was my favourite tipple for a long while in Newcastle: lemon, hoppy, strong.

Latvian beers tend to be none of the above.

  2. I have to admit I have never had a Latvian beer.

  3. Did you squander a word there with "Timothy Taylor Landlord - amber, citrus, oranges". Oranges being a sub-type of citrus, right? :D

  4. Citrus on the nose, oranges in the mouth.

  5. Don't worry, you're not missing out.
I'd even drink Cerna Hora here if it wasn't so damn expensive.
