This week's Beer Hero is Kimber VanRy. Who? You may ask. Kimber VanRy was enjoying a bottle of beer on his doorstep in Brooklyn and was given a $25 fine for drinking in public.
The full story was in the New York Times.
The reason he is my Beer Hero of the Week is that when asked if he would be drinking beer on his stoop again, he simply replied: "Absolutely."
Congratulations Mr VanRy on being Beer Hero of the Week.
Thanks also to Jay for bringing this story to my attention.
